How one CEO Turned His Email List Into A Successful Podcast—And Saved 150+ Hours

The challenge

Meny Hoffman, CEO of Ptex by day, advice columnist at night, and busy father of eight, dreamed of expanding his Let’s Talk Business email series into a podcast. He had tens of thousands of loyal subscribers who would benefit from a podcast featuring interviews with business owners, insights on marketing and hiring, and advice on everything business-related.

The problem? A podcast takes time. Lots of it. And time was something Meny didn’t have.

The solution

Meny turned to Flow Digital for help automating the guest onboarding process and project management. Flow Digital helped Meny identify which tools he needed, built the necessary workflows and zaps, and then trained the team member responsible for maintaining the few manual tasks that remained.

In addition to automating the email communication, Flow Digital set up a 22-step Zap, integrating software like Smartsheet, Keap, AppointmentCore, Google Drive, Google Docs, and Dropbox.

With automation lessening the workload, Meny was able to turn his podcast into a reality.

Today, Let’s Talk Business has amassed over 75 episodes, educating and inspiring business owners throughout the world.
